Volunteer Services

Volunteers play an important role in supporting various hospital programs and services, often interacting with patients and their families. If you are interested in serving as a St. John West Shore Hospital volunteer, call 440.827.5042 or e-mail your name and address to Roberta Jones, Director, Volunteer Services to receive information in the mail.

St. John West Shore Hospital Auxiliary

In 1981, The SJWS Auxiliary was organized to promote the Catholic Mission of the hospital and the care of patients of St. John West Shore Hospital. Our Auxiliary members serve as a link between the community and the Hospital. We encourage others to join our membership and to help us continue our tradition of sharing.

From diverse backgrounds, Auxiliary members generously offer their time and energies to support patients, their families and other members of the community. Auxiliary opportunities range from performing in-service volunteer work to organizing special events, and other projects such as children’s brunches, theatre parties and fashion shows. And each year, net proceeds from Auxiliary efforts are used to support Hospital and community programs and services. Annual membership dues are $7.00.
