Theresa Hammond, RN, OB is the Nurse Excellence Award Winner for the year 2006. Theresa is playfully dubbed the “Little General” in her unit because of her remarkable energy as a charge nurse. She is respected and admired by her peers for not only being a very capable nurse, but also as a leader in their unit. She defends the less fortunate and shows compassion and respect for others. Theresa doesn’t look for praise and would rather give the credit to others. Congratulations Theresa!
