Dr. Cathy Graham has accepted the position of Medical Director of the Breast Health Program here at St. John West Shore Hospital.
Joining the team in April, Dr. Graham is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. She earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed her internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati. She worked for 10 years at University Hospitals of Cleveland main campus and has spent the last three years with University Southwest Surgeons.
Dr. Graham has special medical interests in breast cancer, benign breast problems and surgical trauma.
A resident of Shaker Heights, she enjoys spending time with her three children. Her hobbies include instructing and participating in high performance driving events.
“We are fortunate have someone like Dr. Graham on our Hospital team,” said Joyce Forristell, Coordinator of the Breast Health Program at SJWS. “Dr. Cathy Graham takes a very proactive role during the entire period of diagnosis, treatment and recovery of her breast patients. Her expertise and open and honest way of talking with patients provides comfort and security for her patient population.”
Dr. Cathy Graham, along with the Breast Health Coordinator, Joyce Forristell work very closely to expedite the best possible patient outcome involving patient teaching, support and providing resources. “We are very proud to have Dr. Graham as our new Medical Director for the Breast Health Program,” said Forristell.
