2013-14 Recruitment Season

We are very pleased to announce that we have filled all of our positions for July 1, 2013 and we look forward to the 2013-14 recruitment season opening September 1, 2013.

We anticipate the following PGY-1 position openings for the July 1, 2014 start date:

  • Internal Medicine (Match Code #45911) – 3 positions
  • Family Medicine (Match Code #45946) – 3 positions
  • Emergency Medicine (Match Code # 45945) – 4 positions
  • Combined Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine (Match Code #45951)– 2 positions
  • Traditional Rotating (Match Code #45911) – 2-3 positions

Interview Schedule:
Interviews for 2013/14 Internal Medicine applicants will be conducted the Week of December 2-6, 2013 (Monday-Friday) starting at 8:30 a.m. and lasting through lunch

Scheduling of interviews for Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine and Traditional Rotating will begin in mid-September. Interviews are usually scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning at 8:00 a.m. and lasting through lunch. An itinerary and packet of materials, including the most current salary, benefit and hospital information will be provided to you the morning of your arrival on your interview day

An application must include the following:

  • ERAS application
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Medical school transcript
  • MSPE (Dean’s Letter) – these are frequently released by the schools on October 1st
  • COMLEX I, II & PE scores – these should be on file preferably before interviewing & before ranking in January
  • COMLEX I score of 82 (500) or greater for Emergency Medicine applicants
  • Personal statement
  • Photograph
