On behalf of St. John Medical Center, I would like to thank you for your interest in our growing osteopathic medical education program. It is our goal to train interns and residents to become highly competent and professional physicians. The osteopathic medical education program combines hands-on patient care experience with both ambulatory and in-patient rotations, as well as regular didactic lectures from attending physicians, clinical case conferences, morning report, and journal clubs.
The hospital is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association and affiliated with Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Center for Osteopathic Research and Education, which allows us a greater pool of resources for medical students, interns, and residents. Each resident participates in lectures each month with other residents throughout the state.
I welcome you to explore our programs with a quick overview of Medical Education at St. John Medical Center. Please feel free to call me at (440) 827.5574 if you have any questions or would like additional information.
Gregory P. Bloxdorf, D.O.
